Women In S.T.E.M

Tiffani Teachey is a Sr. Mechanical Engineer, STEM advocate, professional speaker, and international best-selling author of the children's book, What Can I Be? STEM Careers from A to Z, available in Spanish, French, and Swahili, and a women's empowerment book called Saving Lives While Fighting for Mine: Stories to Empower Women to Win.

As an engineer with over sixteen years of experience, Tiffani has a passion for inspiring the next generation to engage in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) careers. She plans to continue to promote her various books alongside a guided journal, teacher's edition, t-shirts, and training courses.

Tiffani became a writer because of the importance of having her voice heard and knowing that someone needed to hear her story or learn from her experience, especially in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM).

When Tiffani would go and speak to the students about how engineering is fun, she decided to put it in writing for children to see the opportunities in STEM careers. There is a need for STEM representation, and it was a way to shape our future generation of STEM leaders.

What's next for 2021:

Tiffani plans to provide guided journals, teacher's guides, book series for the STEM Crew Kids, t-shirts, and puzzles. As well as podcasts, speaking engagements, book fairs, and book tours.
